At first, download THE NEWEST JAVA PLUGIN (for example, search by Google for finding the closest
download-location) and eventually download a new version of the used browser.
In order to be shown an EXTERNAL HTML web page from an java applet, as it is the HTML web page shown
below of this text, IT SHOULD BE ALLOWED THE SHOWING POP-UPS.
In other words, if your browser is not
CONFIGURED to show pop-ups, the HTML web pages will be blocked by the browser, that is, you are going IDLE (in
vain) to click the HTPP buttons. The same is valid for the displayed advertising banners. The only other left alternative
is to be typed by means of the keyboard into your ALREADY opened browser the shown internet address!
For example, if you use the Google browser:
- 1. click 'Settings'.
- 2. click 'Under the Hood'.
- Within the 'Privacy' 3. click 'Content Settings'.
- 4. click 'Allow in order to be shown pop-ups'.
NOTE: The browsers RECOMMENDS TO BE ALLOWED SETTING SOME ACTIVE CONTENT ON YOUR HARD DISK (cookies), but simultaneously they do NOT ALLOW TO BE DISPLAYED A SIMPLE WEB PAGE (advertising web page, a creative article, ..... NOTHING)!!!!!!
NOTE TOO: If 'pop-ups' are not allowed by you, the display of following web pages, shown below this text, WILL NOT be blocked by browsers, in spite of the fact, the browser, and the HTML programming at the first place, have not any kind of the SECURITY MANAGER, whereas the JAVA programming language has it. In other words, if a java applet tries to access your hard disk, it will be thrown a "java security exception" by the java's security manager, that is, it will be not allowed doing it, what is not case with a web page written by HTML, JAVASCRIPT, PHP, ..... Just try it by clicking these links, shown below (they WILL NOT BE BLOCKED), and then later, try to click them from this java applet in order to see the difference in treatment, IN THE CASE you didn't allow showing "pop-ups" in the used browser (they WILL BE BLOCKED)!
By the way said, the used window-containers within this java applet are not pop-ups at all because they can be ignored, by clicking another button, for example, that IS NOT THE CASE with the pop-ups. In order to see A TRUE POP_UP in action, implemented BY THE OWNERS OF THE BROWSERS, click the following link, shown bellow of this text [note, until it has been not clicked, either the button "Run" or "Cancel", this pop-up will be shown in front of all opened programmes and web pages]:

If you still don't see the applet is running,
- Check DIA change the internet options by allowing running java applets and javascript. If you use "Firefox" browser, you can enable javascript by clicking "Extra" --> "Options" --> "Content" and then enable javascript. On the MS Windows operative system to enable running java applets and javascript, go to the "Start" --> "Control Panel" --> "Internet Options" --> "Security" --> "Custom Level" and there enable it. After that open this website again!
If still this applet doesn't run, it was PROBABLY caused by no enough memory provided by the installed java virtual environment (JRE): Default installation is 64MB.
- To check DIA increase it, you have to find the "Java (TM) Platform, Standard Edition" icon by dragging cursor over the all eventually shown recognisable logos of java. On the Windows 7, java logo with name "Java (TM) Platform" is visible on the system tray, where are shown hidden icons or beside it.
- Ignore the java logo visible on the system tray, where after dragging the cursor over it appears the text with name "Java Console"! Click only (java) logo with name "Java (TM) Platform" with the left mouse button, and then click "Open Control Panel"
For further info how to increase the java applet memory limit (click "Java" --> "View") DIA CLICK the following link:
On this webpage was explained in detail, , how to be solved the previous problem, on the Windows XP operative system. Place the cursor in the field "Runtime Parameters". Do not be confused, if in the whole marked row of the current JRE settings, is not visible the cursor. Regardless of it, TYPE these data -Xмx320M, max: 3/4 of the system physical memory size, and do nor forget to update it by pressing "OK" (and "Apply") buttons on the both opened user screen. Keep in your mind, you have to do it ONLY ONCE, in order to run this large applet.
